If a ‘claimed psychic’ predicted a future event would you believe it or not? What if you did not believe in the prediction but knew of it only to find out later that the psychic was correct in their telling of the future? Would you be more inclined to listen to what this person has to say or would you still be dismissive of the information?

I have never been one to put much stock in the those horoscopes that you see in the local newspaper. I do wonder though at a time in our society when so many people have been feeling the pressures of a struggling economy if at a time of need and desperation if people tend to look more to the unknown for relief to their problems. Or just a possible “sign” of what direction they might have to look to change their fortunes or circumstances.
