More People Seeking Alternative Forms Of Spiritual Guidance
Is it science, magic or a scam that is battleground that is explored everyday when people confront other people that look to astrology, palmistry or numerology for some guidance in their lives. Obviously there are legitimate arguments for both sides of this type of spiritual guidance. I will certainly not be trying to sway anyone from one side to the other, I am simply writing about some observations and if a healthy discussion should happen to break out because of it than I am satisfied with that.
I hope we can all agree that all of these forms of alternative forms of guidance are big business in this day and age. Especially as fast as the population is growing and so much of the world seeming to be on some form of crisis. Whether it be wars, economical challenges or natural disasters there seems to be an inordinate amount of this type of chaos going on in the world. Coming along with all this chaos is a growing amount of people that seem to have “lost” their way a wandering spirit if you will that is looking for some sort of purpose or direction to get through all of life’s challenges.
I believe there is a growing movement in the world of people that are becoming more aware of this desire in them to find some sort spiritual purpose. This need is feeding into the growth in popularity for astrology, palmistry and numerology. It’s becoming much more mainstream as well for example in India there are leaders of major companies in both business and entertainment that will consult with an astrologer or a numerologist before going forward with company decisions. Not to say that they are making decsions soley on these consults but they are being consulted and that is a significant shift in public perception of these alternative forms of life guidance.
Do you have any similar observations in your own life? Have you noticed people around you looking into astrology charts a little more often or reading a horoscope a bit more intently? Do you agree or disagree with my perception that more people in general seem to be looking for something more and these type of things like astrology, pamlistry and numerology appear to be gaining in popularity.
